Hafi Lingonberry Preserves(Berries) Jar contains 14 ounces of slightly sweetened berries. Hafi Lingonberries Jar contains 12 grams of sugar per serving. Hafi Lingonberry Jar is delicious as a condiment with many meat dishes or as a dessert with whipped cream or milkshake.

Lingonberry Recipes


Swedish pancakes with Lingonberries
Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1 cup milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoons melted butter
dash salt

To garnish:

1 10 oz jar Lingonberries in sugar
Whipped cream(optional)

1. Place the flour in a bowl. Add the milk and whisk until the batter is smooth. Add the eggs, 3 tablespoons of butter and slat. Beat until well blended. Refrigerate batter for 20 to 30 minutes.

2. Heat a skillet or crepe pan. Grease lightly with butter. Stir batter briefly and add 1.4 cup of the batter to the heated pan. Tilt to spread batter over the entire pan. Cook until lihgtly golden. Flip the pancake over. Cook other side until golden.

3. Make pancakes utnil all of the batter is used. Makes 8 pancakes.

4. Serve with Lingonberries in sugar.

Änglamat(Angel Food)(4-6 Portions)

Ingredients:
8-12 big wheat crusts
8-10 fl.ozs of milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
to garnish 10 fl.ozs of thick cream
5 fl.ozs of lingonberries in sugar

a. Mix milk, sugar and vanilla sugar in a flat bowl.
b. Soften the crusts in the milk but not too long so that they part.
c. Whip the cream hard and mix with lingonberries.
d. Place the crust ont he serving plate and spread the lingonberry cream over.
e. Serve the dish very cold.

Scandinavian Snow

Ingredients:

5 fl.ozs of heavy cream
200 g Wild lingonberries in sugar(1/2 jar)
1 egg white

a. Beat heavy cream stiff.
b. Mix wild lingonberries in sugar with crea.
c. Whip egg white very stiff and add other ingredients just before serving.
d. Serve in cones.

Linbongerry Rice

Ingredients:

6 ozs of rice
2 pts of water
1/4 tsp of salt
1.5 ozs of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
10 fl.ozs of whipped cream
10 fl.ozs of lingonberries in sugar(3/4 jar)

a. Bil the rice in salted water.
b. Remove the water and mix rice with sugar.
c. Mix rice when it has cooled with whipped cream.
d. Place a layer of rice cream in a low wide bowl and put on top of that a layer of lingonberries in sugar, another layer of rice cream, etc. (The first and last layer should be rice cream).
e. Serve well cooled.

Lingonberry parfait(6 Portions)

Ingredients:

10 fl. ozs of whipped cream
2 egg yolks
1 oz of finely granulated sugar
1 jar, 14 1/2 oz, of lingonberries in sugar
1--2 fl.ozs of gin

a. Whip the cream.
b. Whip the egg yolks with the sugar.
c. Mix the lingonberries with the gin, the egg yokes and the cream.
d. Pour in to bowl and freeze for 3 hours.
Lingonberry Ginger Bread

Time for preparation -- about 1 1/2 hours -- 1 hour in the oven. Overn temeratur 350°F(175°C). YOu need 1 1/2 litre baking form.

Ingredients:

3.5 ozs of butter of margarine
2 eggs
3 ozs of granulated sugar
8 ozs of wheat meal
2 teaspoons of baking powder
3.5 ozs of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of fine granulated cardamon
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
2 teaspoons granulated clove
3.5 ozs of whipped cream
3.5 ozs of lingonberries in sugar(1/4 jar)

a. Melt the butter and let it cool.
b. Whip egg and sugar fluffy
c. Mix all the dry ingredient with the spices and add them to the whipped eg and sugar -- the cream and the lingonberries.
d. Add the melted butter.
3. Put into the baking form and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hours. The finished cake should cool about 10 minutes before being emptied out of the form.

Wild lingonbery sorbet(3-5 portions)

12 ozs Wild lingonberries ins sugar(1/2 jar)
8 fl.ozs of water
3 egg yolks

a. Mix wild lingonberies and water in a bowl.
b. Place the bowl in the freezer for about 1 hours. The mixture will then be half-frozen.vc. Beat 3 egg yolks very hard an mix with the half-forzen lingonberry mixutre.
d. Place the mixture in the freezer and stir every now and then.
e. After 2--3 hours the sorbet is ready to be served.
f. Place in serving glasses.
g. Garnish with fruit.

Suusilull(4 to 6 portions)

Ingredients:

1 pint of vanilla ice cream
2 pts of milk
7 fl. ozs of lingonberries in sugar(1.2 jar)
2--3 fl.ozs of whipped cream

a. Mix ice cream, milk and lingonberries in sugar and pour in to high glasses
b. Garnish wiwht whipped cream and serve.
